Valerie Horn, DO, FAAP grew up in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. She went on to study Psychology at The University of Pittsburgh and pursued her Masters in Biomedical Sciences at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Horn moved back to the Philadelphia area and attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

She completed her residency at Crozer Chester Medical Center in 2019 and soon after, moved to Washington state, where her husband was stationed as a flight surgeon in the Navy. Dr. Horn had the unique opportunity of working at the Naval Health Clinic in Oak Harbor, where she cared for the children of active duty service members. She then went on to continue practicing primary care in the coastal town of Anacortes for several years, before relocating back to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Horn is passionate about caring for the pediatric population and strives to empower families with knowledge and anticipatory guidance to help children thrive and stay healthy. She is excited to join Cornerstone Pediatrics and looks forward to the opportunity to establish strong relationships with her patients and their families, with the goal of being a trusted and approachable resource within the community.
