Dr. Weidner has spent nearly his entire life in South Jersey, graduating from Pennsauken High School in 1984. He completed his pre-medical studies at Franklin and Marshall College, in Lancaster, PA, graduating magna cum laude, majoring in biology, with a minor in music.  He attended Temple University School of Medicine, receiving election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, then remained in Philly for residency training at the The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from 1992-1995. He is board-certified and has been chosen more than once as a Top Doc by several local publications.

Dr. Weidner has interest in exploring the impact of technology and media on children, teens, and young adults.

Dr. Weidner lives in Washington Township with his family and is involved in his home church, Joy Community Fellowship in Pitman.  In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, singing, teaching, rooting for Philly sports teams, and outdoor activities such as bird-watching and gardening. He has been highly impacted through almost 30 years of mission trips to Guatemala, and his youngest daughter was adopted from that beautiful country.

In addition, he is a founding leader of the South Jersey chapter of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, and currently teams with students from the two local medical schools in that volunteer capacity.
